And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
