Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 in the seat of truth with an all-powerful sovereign. 55
