Al-Rahman 2 of 3
For everything on the earth is extinction. 26 while your Lord's own Self will remain full of majesty and glory. 27 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 30 Soon will We apply Ourselves to you, O you two armies. 31 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 32 O assembly of the jinn and the men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority. 33 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 38 For on that Day neither man nor invisible being will be asked about his sins. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seized by the forelock and their feet. 41 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 42 This is the hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 They will go round between its flames and boiling water. 44 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 45
