When God said, 'Jesus, I will take thee to Me and will raise thee to Me and I will purify thee of those who believe not. I will set thy followers above the unbelievers till the Resurrection Day. Then unto Me shall you return, and I will decide between you, as to what you were at variance on. 55 As for those who disbelieved, I shall punish them with a terrible chastisement in this world and in the Next; and they shall find none to help them. 56 And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 57 This is what We recite to you, [O Muhammad], of [Our] verses and the precise [and wise] message. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of those who doubt. 60 Then whoever disputes with you concerning him ['Iesa (Jesus)] after (all this) knowledge that has come to you, [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus)] being a slave of Allah, and having no share in Divinity) say: (O Muhammad SAW) "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then we pray and invoke (sincerely) the Curse of Allah upon those who lie." 61 This is the true story (of Jesus). There is no Lord but God. It is God who is Majestic and All-wise. 62 But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers. 63
