Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Having in them various kinds. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In each of the two Gardens are two flowing springs. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In both of them are two springs gushing forth. 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
