▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
