▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In which are fruits of all kinds, each of two varieties. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78
