The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On studded thrones. 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 And fruit of what they select 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 and made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
