The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 and banana trees, 29 and extended shade, 30 near to flowing water 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 And made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
