The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 and the mountains fragmented 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 on lavish couches 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 and serried acacias, 29 and spreading shade 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And abundant fruit, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 We have made them virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
