The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few of later ages, 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 and gushing water, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 And made them virgins. 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
