۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
