▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
