۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
