He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. 15 Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed? 16 Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles, then you shall know how My warning is? 17 But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)? 18 Do they not see the birds above them flying wings spread out or folded? Nothing holds them aloft but God. All things are within His purview. 19 Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion. 20 Who is he that can provide for you, should He withhold His provision? Aye! they persists in perverseness and aversion. 21 So is one who walks inverted upon his face more rightly guided, or one who walks upright on the Straight Path? 22 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “It is He Who created you, and made ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little thanks do you offer!” 23 Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together." 24 And they say: When shall this threat be (executed) if you are truthful? 25 Say: 'The knowledge is with God; I am only a clear warner.' 26 So when they will see it close, the faces of the disbelievers will become ghastly, and it will be declared, “This is what you were demanding.” 27 Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?" 28 Proclaim, “He only is the Most Gracious – we have accepted faith in Him and have relied only upon Him; so you will now realise who is in open error.” 29 Say: 'What do you think. If your water should sink into the earth in the morning, who then would bring you running water' 30
