Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Those who are mindful of their Lord will be rewarded with gardens of bliss. 34 What, shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers? 35 What is the matter with you? How could you judge this to be so? 36 Or have you a Book in which you read 37 that tells you to do whatever you want? 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask then, which of them will stand thereof a surety? 40 Or has something been guaranteed by any of those whom they associate with Allah in His Divinity?” If so, let them bring forth their associates, if they are truthful. 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 46 Or is the Unseen theirs that they can write (thereof)? 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 Had not Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been cast off on the naked shore, in disgrace. 49 Then his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 And those who disbelieve well-nigh cause thee to stumble with their looks when they hear the admonition, and they say: verily he is mad. 51 While it is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 52
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
