But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And what you do not see 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
