So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
