So by oath of the things you see. 38 And what ye see not, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
