But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
