Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
