But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 They contrived a plot of great magnitude. 22 And who have said: ye shall not leave your gods; nor shall ye leave Wadd nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq nor Nasr. 23 "And indeed they have led many astray. And (O Allah): 'Grant no increase to the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers, etc.) save error." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned and then put into the fire; so they did not find any supporter for themselves against Allah. (Punishment in the grave is proven by this verse.) 25 And Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! 26 Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. 27 "O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house in Faith, and (all) believing men and believing women: and to the wrong-doers grant Thou no increase but in perdition!" 28
