You shall not attain righteousness until you spend of what you love. Whatever you spend is known to Allah. 92 ۞ All food was lawful for the Children of Israel, except whatever Israel had made unlawful for himself before the Torah was sent down. Say to them, "Bring the Torah then and read it, if you are truthful. 93 Then after that, whosoever shall invent a lie against Allah,
such shall indeed be the Zalimun (disbelievers). 94 Say: 'Whatever Allah has said is true. Follow, then, the way of Abraham in total devotion to Allah. He was not one of those who associate others with Allah in His divinity. 95 The first House to be built for mankind was the one at Bakkah [Makkah]. It is a blessed place; a source of guidance for the whole world. 96 full of clear messages. [It is] the place whereon Abraham once stood; and whoever enters it finds inner peace. Hence, pilgrimage unto the Temple is a duty owed to God by all people who are able to undertake it. And as for those who deny the truth - verily, God does not stand in need of anything in all the worlds. 97 Say: 'People of the Book! Why do you reject the signs of Allah when Allah is witness to all that you do?' 98 Say: 'People of the Book, why do you bar from God's way the believer, desiring to make it crooked, yourselves being witnesses? God is not heedless of the things you do.' 99 Believers! Were you to obey a party of those who were given the Book, they might cause you to renounce the Truth after you have attained to faith. 100 And how can you disbelieve, whereas Allah’s verses are recited to you and His Noble Messenger is present amongst you?! And whoever takes the support of Allah is indeed guided to the right path. 101
