The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
O thou enveloped! 1 Arise, and warn. 2 proclaim the greatness of your Lord, 3 And keep your clothes clean. 4 And keep away from Ar-Rujz (the idols)! 5 And show not favour, seeking wordly gain! 6 And persevere in the way of your Lord. 7 When the Horn is blown, 8 it will be a hard day 9 and it will not be easy for the unbelievers. 10 Leave to Me the one, whom I have created all by Myself, 11 To whom I granted resources in abundance, 12 And children present [with him] 13 And for whom I smoothed everything. 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give yet more! 15 Nay! Verily, he has been stubborn and opposing Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). 16 I shall inflict on him hardship, 17 Verily he considered, and devised. 18 So accursed be he, how evilly did he decide! 19 yea, he destroys himself, the way he meditates! 20 Then he thought; 21 then he frowned and scowled, 22 and he turned his back and behaved arrogantly 23 He said, 'This is naught but a trumped-up sorcery; 24 "This is nothing but the word of a human being!" 25 I will surely roast him in the Scorching. 26 And what do you know what Hell is? 27 It leaves naught nor does it spare aught. 28 It scorches people's skin 29 Above it are nineteen guards. 30 We have appointed none but angels to guard the Fire, and made their number only as a trial for the unbelievers, so that those to whom the Book was given are certain and those who believe increase in belief. And that those who were given the Book, and those who believe will not be in doubt. And that those in whose hearts there is a sickness, together with the unbelievers, may say: 'What did Allah intend by this as an example' As such, Allah leaves in error whom He will and He guides whomsoever He will. None knows the hosts of your Lord except He. This is no more than a Reminder to humans. 31

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
