No, by the moon! 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 Warn the men. 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 except those of the right hand 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 From the guilty. 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 until death approached us". 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
