By the moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 about the guilty ones: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
