No, by the moon! 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 A warning for people -- 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until death approached us". 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
