Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
