O believers, fear God as He should be feared, and see you do not die, save in surrender. 102 All of you united hold fast to the rope of God (the Quran and His Messenger), and recall how He favored you when your hostility to each other had torn you apart. He united your hearts in one faith and through His Grace you became brothers. You were on the verge of falling headlong into the abyss of fire, but God saved you. This is how God explains to you His revelations so that you may have the right guidance. 103 Let there be one nation of you that shall call to righteousness, ordering honor, and forbidding dishonor. Those are the prosperous. 104 Do not be like those who turned into quarrelling sects after receiving clear authoritative evidence. They will suffer a great torment. 105 On a day whereon faces become whitened and faces become blackened. Then as for those whose faces shall have become blackened: disbelieved ye after your profession of belief! taste the torment for that ye have been disbelieving. 106 As for those whose faces will be whitened, they shall be in the Mercy of Allah for ever. 107 Such are God's revelations which We explain to you, (Muhammad), for a genuine purpose. God does not want injustice for any of His creatures. 108 To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. To Him all matters shall return. 109
