▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
