He built it, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
