Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
