Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
