(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
