[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 But how are you to know? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
