[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 But how are you to know? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
