Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
