[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 preferring the present life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
