(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 But how are you to know? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
