He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ HE FROWNED and turned away 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 Yet for all thou didst know, [O Muhammad,] he might perhaps have grown in purity, 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 you attended to him, 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 And to him who came to you eagerly 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 On honoured leaves 13 Exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 Then, when He will, He bringeth him again to life. 22 No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 We poured out the rains abundantly, 25 Then split the earth in clefts 26 We make the grain grow out of it, 27 together with grapes and vegetables, 28 And the olive and the palm, 29 the densely tree'd gardens, 30 fruits, and grass. 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 Mother and father, 35 his wife and his children. 36 For every one of them on that Day shall be business enough to occupy 37 on that Day some faces will be beaming, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 some faces on that day shall be dusty 40 Blackness will cover them. 41 These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
