He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 Or be admonished, so that the admonition might have profited him? 4 As for him who regardeth himself self-sufficient 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 And as for him who cometh unto thee running, 8 and who has fear of God, 9 From him thou art distracted. 10 No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder; 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 (It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 13 Exalted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Noble and dutiful. 16 Man is (self-)destroyed: how ungrateful! 17 From what substance did He create him? 18 From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him, 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 then causes him to die and buries him, 21 Then when He pleases, He will raise him to life again. 22 Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 That We watered it in abundance. 25 and let the earth to break open 26 And We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 and vines, and reeds, 28 olives, dates, 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage 31 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 32 Then, when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the Day of Resurrection's second blowing of Trumpet), 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 and his consort and his children; 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 whereas some faces will be covered with dust 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked. 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
