Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 And when the seas rise, 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 and when the girl-child buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
