Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun is covered, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 And when the seas rise, 6 souls are reunited with their bodies, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 for what crime she had been slain, 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 And when the Scorch shall be made to blaze, 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds: 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
