The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 I do not need to swear by the orbiting 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 and sit during the day, or by the darkening night 17 by the dawn sighing, 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. 23 nor does he grudge (conveying this knowledge about) the Unseen; 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Where then are you going? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. 29

As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
