The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 And the close of night, 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 For, this fellow-man of yours is not a madman: 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 So where are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
