Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 The mountains made to move, 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 and when all human beings are coupled [with their deeds,] 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 For what sin she was killed 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 So by oath of those that revolve. (The planets.) 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 and the night that falls, 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 And (O people!) your companion is not one possessed; 22 And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 And the Qur’an is not the recitation of Satan the outcast. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds: 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 However, you will not be able to choose anything unless God, Lord of the Universe wills it to be so. 29

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
