Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 watching over you 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
