Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know whatever you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
