Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble scribes 11 Who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
