The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 and by the promised Day, 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
